Yerevan is a city best discovered without rushing — walking through its streets, exploring hidden courtyards, listening to local stories and watching everyday life unfold around you. This sightseeing tour introduces not only the main landmarks of the Armenian capital, but also the atmosphere and character of the city.

The tour includes Republic Square, the Cascade and the central streets of Yerevan, together with stories about the city’s history, architecture and modern life. From there, the experience can be adapted to individual interests: explore colorful courtyards and smaller streets, visit Megerian Carpet, enjoy an Armenian brandy tasting or discover more of the city through its food.

A Yerevan sightseeing tour is an ideal way to begin a journey through Armenia, get to know the capital and receive recommendations from a local guide on where to go, what to taste and what else to see during the trip.

Option 1 – Walking Tour of Yerevan

Duration: 2–3 hours

  • Meeting with the guide at the hotel or in the city center.
  • Walking sightseeing tour through the heart of Yerevan, including Republic Square, Northern Avenue, the Opera House, the Cascade and the central streets of the city.
  • Along the way, the guide will introduce the history, architecture and everyday life of Yerevan, as well as some of its smaller streets and hidden corners.
  • The tour ends in the city center.
  • Lunch is not included.

Option 2 – Extended Yerevan Sightseeing Tour

Duration: 5–6 hours

  • A combination of a walking and driving sightseeing tour of Yerevan, allowing more of the Armenian capital to be explored in one day.
  • The program includes the main landmarks of central Yerevan — Republic Square, Northern Avenue, the Opera House and the Cascade — together with other interesting neighborhoods, streets and viewpoints around the city.
  • Depending on the selected rate, the program can also include a visit to Megerian Carpet, where Armenian carpet-making traditions can be discovered, followed by lunch.
  • The Premium Rate additionally includes a visit to the Ararat Brandy Company with a guided tour and Armenian brandy tasting.
