Syunik Tour – 4 Days

Description

Syunik is a completely different side of Armenia — high mountains, deep gorges, small towns, ancient monasteries and roads stretching far into the south of the country. A single day in Tatev is not enough to truly discover this region, which is why we have created a four-day journey through southern Armenia.

Over these four days, the route takes us from Goris and Tatev to Kapan and Meghri, combining some of southern Armenia’s best-known landmarks with places rarely visited on standard tourist itineraries. Here, the journey is not only about individual sights — the road itself is an important part of the experience, with constantly changing landscapes and a chance to see life far beyond Yerevan.

Along the way, we will discover the winemaking traditions of Vayots Dzor, explore Goris and Khndzoresk, see the mountains surrounding Kapan, and travel almost to Armenia’s southernmost point — Meghri and the Araks Valley near the Iranian border.

Syunik Tour – 4 Days is a journey for travelers who want to go beyond the classic routes around Yerevan and discover one of Armenia’s most distinctive and impressive regions.
