Program

Day 1: Yerevan

• Arrival in Yerevan
• Meeting at the airport, hotel check-in
• Sightseeing tour of Yerevan
• Welcome dinner
• Free time

Day 2: Khor Virap – Noravank – Areni

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Departure to Khor Virap Monastery, located at the foot of Mount Ararat, famous for being the place where the first Catholicos of All Armenians, Gregory the Illuminator, spent many years in captivity.
• Next, our journey takes us to one of the most beautiful monasteries in Armenia – Noravank, surrounded by sheer red cliffs.
• We will also visit a cave where ancient wine jugs and shoes dating back approximately 6,000 years were recently discovered. Next, we’ll take a tour of the winery, where we’ll enjoy a tasting and a delicious lunch.
• We’ll return to Yerevan in the evening.

Day 3: Jeep Tour to Mount Dimats

• After breakfast, we’ll set off on an exciting journey in SUVs.
• We’ll have a beautiful jeep tour to Mount Dimats. We’ll climb to the top of the mountain, which offers a beautiful view of the cliffs and the towns of Dilijan and Ijevan.
• A picnic will be waiting for us at the summit.
• We’ll also make a stop at Lake Sevan, where we’ll enjoy the beauty of one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world and explore the Sevanavank monastery complex.
• In the evening, we’ll arrive in the village of Yenokavan, which can safely be called the center of active tourism in Armenia.

Day 4: Yenokavan

• After breakfast, we’ll go on a 90-minute horseback ride.
• Next, we’ll enjoy zip-lining and rock climbing.
• Afterwards, we’ll go on a hiking tour along the gorge to the Lastiver caves and a mountain river with a waterfall.
• A delicious lunch will be waiting for us at the bottom of the gorge.
• Rest
• Return climb
• Dinner and rest

Day 5: Garni – Geghard 

• Breakfast
• We say goodbye to beautiful Yenokavan and return to Yerevan
• But on the way to Yerevan, we’ll visit two more beautiful sights.
• Our first stop will be the village of Garni, home to the only surviving monument in Armenia dating back to the pagan and Hellenistic eras.
• If we have time, we’ll also take a walk through the Azat River Gorge, where you’ll see a small natural wonder known as the “Symphony of Stones.”
• Lunch will include a hands-on baking of the famous Armenian bread, lavash.
• Afterwards, we’ll visit the Geghard Monastery Complex, a unique architectural structure, part of which is carved into the rock. The monastery complex’s name derives from the spear that pierced the body of Jesus Christ on the Cross, which, according to historical sources, was brought to Armenia by the Apostle Thaddeus, among many other relics.
• Return to Yerevan
• Airport transfer
