Armenia is beautiful not only in the warm season, but also in winter you can take many beautiful snowy landscapes. We invite you to join our short photo tour “Winter Armenia” in which we will take pictures of fabulous Armenia – mountains covered with white fluffy snow, bright sunrises and sunsets, snow-white mountain peaks, fantastic winter Ararat and Aragats and many other winter landscapes. Join this beautiful journey.
Program
Day 1: Yerevan
- Arrival in Yerevan
- Meeting at the airport, accommodation at the hotel
- Sightseeing tour of Yerevan
- Welcome dinner
- Free time
Day 2: Saghmosavank – Mount Aragats
- We will start the day near the Saghmosavank monastery, where a beautiful view of the Kasakh gorge and Mount Ararat opens up
- Then we will take pictures of the four-domed Aragats
- After which we will taste the famous Armenian dish – khash
- Return to Yerevan
- Rest
- In the evening we will take pictures of a beautiful sunset
Day 3: Khor Virap – Noravank – Areni
- Departure to the Khor Virap monastery, located at the very foot of Mount Ararat, which is the closest point to Ararat. Shooting the monastery against the backdrop of the mountain.
- Then our path lies to one of the most beautiful monasteries in Armenia – Noravank, surrounded by steep red cliffs.
- After shooting Noravank, we will go to the village of Areni, which can be called the winemaking center of Armenia, where we will have a delicious lunch with local residents and rest.
- In the evening, we will return to Yerevan
Day 4: Sevan – Dilijan
- We will go to Lake Sevan, shoot winter Sevan
- after which we will go to the resort Dilijan, shoot the old city
- Then we will go and shoot the monastery complex Haghartsin.

- In the evening, we will return to Yerevan
Day 5: Ararat – Garni – Geghard
- We will meet the dawn not far from Yerevan on the road to Garni, where we will shoot the sunrise over Mount Ararat.
- Next we go to the village of Garni itself, where we will shoot the ancient monastery, and also walk along the beautiful gorge to the natural wonder of the “Symphony of Stones”
- Then we will have a late breakfast
- After shooting Garni, we will go to neighboring Geghard, where we will see a beautiful monastery, part of which is carved into the rock. We will shoot the monastery against the backdrop of the rocks, and also take photos inside the monastery.
- Return to Yerevan
- Transfer to the airport
