We invite you to a two-day interesting and very beautiful hike of medium difficulty.

On the first day we will climb Mount Yeranos, which is only 30 km from Yerevan. The height of the mountain is 1824 m above sea level. The hike to the top of Mount Yeranos is one of the most beautiful, distinguished by bright semi-desert rocky landscapes. The length of the route is about 20 km. From here there is a very beautiful view of the Azat gorge and reservoir, and in clear weather you can enjoy beautiful views of Mount Ararat and Aragats.
On the second day we will climb to the Smbataberd fortress. The 5th century Smbataberd fortress is located in the Vayots Dzor region. The fortress is located on the top of a hill surrounded by the slopes of a beautiful gorge, at the bottom of which the Artabuyn and Yeghegis rivers flow. We will start our hike from the village of Yeghegis and climb up a very beautiful path to the fortress, from where an amazing view of Mount Teksar opens up.

Day 1: Yerevan — Mount Yeranos — Yeghegis

A beautiful hike to climb Mount Yeranos
After the hike, we will go to the village of Yeghegis, where we will spend the night in a small hotel with a very beautiful view of the mountains.

Day 2: Smbataberd Fortress — Yerevan

Breakfast
Hike to the Smbataberd Fortress and the Tsakhats Kar monastery complex
We will return to Yerevan in the evening
