Description
The mountain Aragats is the highest peak in nowadays Armenia. It is 4090 meters high and has 4 summits. There is a 350 meter deep volcanic crater in between those 4 summits.
The highest summit is the northern, which is 4090 m, then western – 4007 m, eastern – 3916 m and southern – 3879 m.
We invite you to climb Aragats and have a look at Armenia from 4000m heights.
When the weather is clear you can easily see a wonderful view to the mount Ararat, Geghama mountains and the mount Ara. The climbing begins from 3300 m where we get by car.

Early morning departure from Yerevan.
At the beginning of the tour we will move to lake Kari
The lake is situated on the height of 3200m above the sea level near the Southern peak of Aragats. It is a freshwater lake, a wonderful pearl of wild nature surrounded by alpine meadows.
Afterwards we’ll start our hiking tour to the Southern peak, it takes 5-6 hours.
Climb up. Enjoy every single moment of your hike. Feel Armenian wild nature.
