Description

Rafting is a relatively new activity, but it is now difficult to imagine active and adventure tourism without it. We will have an interesting and full of emotions day during this rafting tour in Armenia, which takes place on the Debed River in the Lori region. And the region of Lori is one of the most picturesque regions of Armenia. In addition to rafting, we will have an excursion to Haghpat and Sanahin.
The best time for rafting is from April to the end of September.

Program

Haghpat – Sanahin – Rafting – Yerevan

  • We leave for the north of Armenia to the fabulous region of Lori.
  • To begin with, we will visit the village of Haghpat, where we will go to one of the most beautiful architectural creations of Armenia – the Haghpat Monastery. We assure you that you will fall in love with this fabulous place and want to visit it many more times.
  • After getting acquainted with the Haghpat Monastery, we will go to the recently restored cave complex “Zarni Parni”, which also offers a very beautiful view of the gorge and the ancient fortress.
  • Lunch
  • Next, we will go to the neighboring village of Sanahin, where we will visit the Sanahin Monastery, which is very interesting from an architectural point of view. 
  • And after that, a super interesting and exciting activity will be waiting for us – rafting on the Debed River.
  • In the evening we will return to Yerevan
