Sometimes the best way to recharge is to replace the usual routine with mountains, new experiences and several days of real travel. Full Restart in Armenia is our eight-day active tour for those who want not only to see the country, but to spend the journey outdoors, on the move and away from the usual city routine.
The route brings together the mountains of Syunik, Tatev, Lake Sevan, the green forests of Dilijan and several days surrounded by nature in Yenokavan. Sightseeing alternates with outdoor activities, including Lastiver, horseback riding, ziplining and a 4×4 tour to Mount Dimats.
Between the adventures, the journey reveals another side of Armenia through local cuisine, wine, artisan cheeses, small towns and beautiful places away from the standard tourist routes.
A full day in Yerevan adds a different rhythm to the journey, with time to explore the Armenian capital, its museums, markets, traditional crafts and brandy culture.

Program
Day 1: Yerevan
- Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport.
- Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
- Hotel accommodation.
- Depending on the arrival time, a short introductory walk through central Yerevan.
- Welcome dinner at an Armenian restaurant.
- Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 2: Khor Virap – Noravank – Areni – Karahunj – Goris
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure to Khor Virap Monastery, with views of Mount Ararat on clear days.
- Continue to Noravank Monastery, surrounded by the red cliffs of Vayots Dzor.
- Visit to Areni-1 Cave, an important archaeological site with evidence connected with early winemaking.
- Visit to a local winery for a tour, wine tasting and lunch.
- Continue south towards Goris, with a stop at Karahunj (Zorats Karer).
- Arrival in Goris.
- Hotel accommodation and overnight in Goris.
Day 3: Khndzoresk – Tatev – Yeghegis
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure to Khndzoresk, with a walk across the suspension bridge and through the historic cave settlement.
- Continue to the Wings of Tatev cable car and cross the Vorotan Gorge to Tatev Monastery.
- Visit Tatev monastery.
- Lunch.
- Continue towards Shaki Waterfall.
- Departure to Yeghegis.
- Hotel accommodation and overnight in Yeghegis.
Day 4: Sevan – Dilijan – Haghartsin – Yenokavan
- Breakfast.
- Departure towards Lake Sevan.
- On the way, visit to a local cheese producer for a tasting and an introduction to Armenian artisan cheeses.
- Arrival at Lake Sevan and visit to Sevanavank Monastery.
- Boat trip on Lake Sevan, weather permitting.
- Lunch.
- Continue to Dilijan.
- Walk through Dilijan and continue to Haghartsin Monastery, surrounded by the forests of Dilijan National Park.
- Departure to Yenokavan.
- Dinner and overnight in Yenokavan.
Day 5: Yenokavan
- Breakfast.
- A full active day surrounded by the forests and mountains of Yenokavan.
- Optional horseback riding and ziplining.
- Hike through the gorge to Lastiver, with its caves, mountain river and waterfalls.
- Lunch near the river.
- Return hike to Yenokavan.
- Dinner and overnight in Yenokavan.
Day 6: Jeep tour to Mount Dimats – Yerevan
- Breakfast.
- Departure from Yenokavan by 4×4 towards Mount Dimats.
- Off-road journey through the mountain landscapes of Tavush, with panoramic views over the surrounding ridges and valleys.
- Picnic in the mountains.
- Return through Dilijan and departure to Yerevan.
- Hotel accommodation and overnight in Yerevan.
Day 7: Garni – Geghard
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure to Geghard Monastery, partly carved into the surrounding rock.
- Continue to Garni Temple, Armenia’s best-known monument from the pre-Christian period.
- Visit to the Symphony of Stones in the Garni Gorge.
- Lunch with a traditional lavash-making experience.
- Return to Yerevan.
- Transfer to Zvartnots International Airport according to the flight schedule.
- Departure.
