High on the northern slopes of Mount Aragats, surrounded by alpine meadows and rugged mountain landscapes, lies the small Lake Rapi. Located at an altitude of around 3,000 meters, it is far from paved roads and the usual tourist routes.

From Yerevan, we head towards Mount Aragats by 4×4 vehicle, before continuing along mountain roads towards the lake. As the route climbs higher, the landscape gradually changes from alpine meadows to rocky highlands, while the impressive North Wall of Mount Aragats comes into view.

The main destination of the journey is Lake Rapi, located directly below the North Wall. On a clear and calm day, the surrounding peaks are reflected in the still waters of the lake, creating one of the most beautiful landscapes of Aragats. Here, we stop for a picnic by the lake, with time to relax and take photos.

The trip can also be combined with SUP boarding on Lake Rapi.

Jeep tour to Lake Rapi

Morning departure from Yerevan by 4×4 vehicle towards Mount Aragats.
Continue along mountain and off-road routes towards the northern slopes of Aragats, passing through alpine meadows and rocky highland landscapes.
As the route climbs higher, panoramic views open towards the North Wall of Mount Aragats.
Arrival at Lake Rapi, located at an altitude of around 3,000 meters at the foot of the North Wall.
