The first snowboard and skiing festival “Snowland 2016” will be held in Armenia for the first time

On February 26 and 27, a large-scale sports and entertainment snowboard and downhill ski festival “Snowland 2016” will be held for the first time in Armenia at the ski resort Tsaghkadzor.
The event will be held in two stages. On February 26 freeride (off-piste snowboarding and downhill skiing) with participation of professional sportsmen and members of the Armenian Ski Federation will be held. On February 27 there will be an amateur competition of skiers and snowboarders. The competition will be held on the discipline “Giant Slalom”.
The rating system of competitions will meet world standards. Winners will receive prizes from the sponsors of the festival. More than 100 skiers and snowboarders from both Armenia and other countries are expected to participate. The entertainment program “Snowland 2016” will allow the resort’s holidaymakers and all interested persons to plunge into the atmosphere of the festival. You can take part in the festival as a “Guest” and as a “Participant”.
The organizers of the event are the managers of the Bliss Events company, plan to hold the festival annually, this will promote the popularization of these sports and the development of tourism in Armenia.
The festival is held jointly with the Armenian Mountaineering Federation, with the support of the Tsaghkadzor City Hall.
