On September 25, 2026, one of Armenia’s most iconic landmarks — the ancient Temple of Garni — will become the spectacular setting for a special musical evening. The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and Reincarnation Orchestra will join forces to present Symphonic Reincarnation.
Imagine Garni at sunset: the ancient columns of the temple, the mountains and the dramatic Azat Gorge stretching into the distance, the last rays of sunlight fading over the landscape — and music bringing together contemporary Armenian sounds and a full symphony orchestra.
This is the atmosphere awaiting guests at Symphonic Reincarnation, a concert that brings together Armenia’s ancient heritage and its vibrant contemporary culture.
The concert will bring Reincarnation Orchestra and the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra together on one stage. The performance will be conducted by Sergey Smbatyan, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
Reincarnation’s music will be presented in new symphonic arrangements, giving familiar compositions an entirely different dimension.
The concert is part of the band’s AWAKENING World Tour, created to introduce audiences around the world to contemporary Armenian music and culture through an unusual combination of Reincarnation’s distinctive sound and symphony orchestras.
Following the performance in Armenia, the tour will continue with concerts in Los Angeles and Moscow.
The location makes this concert particularly special. The Temple of Garni is one of Armenia’s most recognizable landmarks and the country’s unique surviving monument of Greco-Roman architecture.
Standing high above the picturesque Azat River Gorge, Garni is especially beautiful in the evening, when the last rays of sunlight illuminate the temple’s stone columns and the surrounding mountains.
For one evening, this ancient monument will become more than a historical attraction — it will provide a spectacular natural backdrop for a major musical event.
Events like this offer travelers an opportunity to experience a different side of Armenia, where centuries of history are not separated from modern life but become part of it.
The concert will take place on September 25, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Garni Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.
Ticket prices start from AMD 8,000.
For visitors to Armenia, the concert offers a wonderful opportunity to combine a visit to one of the country’s most famous historical sites with a unique cultural experience.
A trip to Garni can also be combined with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, a walk through the Azat Gorge, and an introduction to traditional Armenian cuisine.
Travel-Armenia encourages visitors to discover Armenia beyond the classic sightseeing routes. Festivals, concerts, gastronomic celebrations and other cultural events offer a chance to experience contemporary Armenia — vibrant, welcoming and remarkably diverse.
