Dilijan International School (UWC Dilijan College) received the prestigious international award International Property Awards 2015 in the category of “Public Services Development” (Public Services Development). This was reported by the press service of the Foundation for Development Initiatives Armenia (IDeA).
In this category, criteria such as the quality of construction, location of the building, architectural and planning decisions, arrangement of the infrastructure of the system, application of “green” technologies are taken into account. The awarding ceremony will take place on September 22 in London. Dilijan School is the first building in the CIS, which was awarded the BREEAM certificate, which confirms compliance with the standards of environmental construction. Dilijan International School (DIS) is a charitable private project initiated by the co-director of Sberbank CIB Ruben Vardanyan. The total cost of the project is $ 150 million. The school, which operates in a boarding school, is designed for 650 students from different countries and 60 teachers. Graduates of the school will receive an International Baccalaureate Diploma.
