Summer in Yerevan means sunshine, open-air terraces, long evenings and, of course, some seriously hot days. Temperatures are particularly high in July and August, when spending a few hours by the pool can be the perfect break from sightseeing.
Fortunately, Yerevan and its surrounding areas now offer an excellent selection of outdoor swimming pools. And these are no longer limited to traditional sports facilities or hotel pools. Today, you can choose from stylish pool clubs with DJs and cocktails, luxury hotel pools, rooftop venues with panoramic city views and peaceful countryside resorts ideal for a relaxing summer day.
We have selected the 10 best outdoor swimming pools in Yerevan and nearby areas in 2026 that we recommend to visitors looking to add some relaxation to their summer holiday in Armenia.
Our selection includes very different experiences — from the sophisticated atmosphere of The Pool and the beach-club vibe of Jellyfish to panoramic rooftop pools, countryside retreats and family-friendly complexes.

📍 40 Paronyan Street, Yerevan
One of the most impressive places to spend a summer day in Yerevan is The Pool at Seven Visions Resort and Places, The Dvin.
Located close to the heart of the Armenian capital, The Pool is very different from a traditional public swimming complex. It is a sophisticated lifestyle pool club where the swimming pool is only part of the experience.
Contemporary design, comfortable relaxation areas, music, food and drinks, attentive service and an upscale atmosphere make it an excellent choice for travellers who want to spend a beautiful and unhurried summer day without leaving Yerevan.
You can dedicate an entire day to relaxing here or visit after several busy days of travelling around Armenia.
It is one of the places we would particularly recommend to VIP travellers, couples and guests looking for a premium pool experience in Yerevan.
Best for: couples, VIP travellers and groups of friends.
Main advantage: a premium resort-style experience in central Yerevan.
Atmosphere: sophisticated, contemporary and relaxed.

📍 Yerevan
Jellyfish is one of Yerevan’s most recognizable modern summer venues.
Rather than simply being an outdoor swimming pool, it is designed as a proper beach club where guests come to spend several hours or even an entire day.
A large swimming pool, sun loungers, cabanas, food, cocktails, music and regular events create a resort-like atmosphere without having to travel far from the city.
Jellyfish is particularly well suited to couples and groups of friends. If you are looking for somewhere to swim, relax, enjoy drinks and experience Yerevan’s contemporary summer lifestyle, this is one of the most interesting choices.
The atmosphere can become livelier later in the day, so it is worth checking the event programme before visiting.
Best for: couples, younger travellers and groups of friends.
Main advantage: a genuine beach-club experience in Yerevan.
Atmosphere: music, cocktails, relaxation and summer events.

📍 Nork-Marash, Yerevan
ZEN is one of the most interesting outdoor pools in Yerevan, particularly for visitors who value beautiful views as much as the swimming itself.
The complex is located in Nork-Marash, on higher ground overlooking the central part of the city. As a result, one of ZEN’s biggest attractions is its panoramic view over Yerevan.
The summer area features a distinctive two-level outdoor swimming pool, relaxation areas and restaurant facilities.
During the day, visitors can come for swimming and sunbathing, while music adds to the atmosphere of a contemporary urban pool club.
ZEN is particularly appealing to couples and groups of friends who want to combine a few hours by the water with food, drinks and impressive city views.
Another advantage is that you are still within Yerevan. You can spend the morning exploring the capital and head to ZEN for a relaxing afternoon.
Best for: couples, younger travellers and groups of friends.
Main advantage: panoramic views over Yerevan and a two-level swimming pool.
Atmosphere: modern city pool club, music, food and views.

📍 Yerevan
N7 Beach Club offers one of the most unusual pool experiences in Yerevan.
Its main attraction is the rooftop swimming pool and panoramic view over the city, turning an ordinary afternoon by the water into a memorable part of your stay in the Armenian capital.
N7 is aimed primarily at an adult audience rather than families looking for children’s water attractions. The pool and comfortable relaxation areas are complemented by music, DJ sets and entertainment.
The venue is particularly attractive later in the afternoon, when the heat begins to ease and the city panorama becomes an important part of the experience.
You can spend several hours swimming, relaxing with friends and enjoying drinks before staying into the evening.
For international visitors, N7 also offers a different perspective on summer in Yerevan. After several days of sightseeing and travelling around Armenia, it is a good place to slow down and enjoy the city’s contemporary lifestyle.
Best for: couples, younger travellers and groups of friends.
Main advantage: rooftop swimming pool and panoramic views over Yerevan.
Atmosphere: contemporary beach club, DJs, music and summer events.
Travel-Armenia tip: check the programme before visiting, as the atmosphere can vary considerably depending on the event taking place that day.

📍 Arzni, approximately 20 km from Yerevan
If you want to escape the summer heat of the city for a day, Poseidon Aquastage is an interesting option.
The complex is located in Arzni, a traditional resort area within easy reach of Yerevan. The journey from the capital is relatively short, but the atmosphere feels noticeably different from the city.
Poseidon Aquastage is not a water park. Instead, it is a modern outdoor swimming pool and summer entertainment venue.
For this reason, we did not include Poseidon in our separate guide to the best water parks in Armenia. It fits much better into this selection of outdoor pools and pool clubs.
It is worth coming here for more than just an hour or two. Spend a good part of the day swimming, relaxing by the water and enjoying the more laid-back countryside atmosphere.
Best for: couples, younger travellers and groups of friends.
Main advantage: a countryside escape without travelling far from Yerevan.
Atmosphere: contemporary outdoor pool club.

📍 27/1 Moldovakan Street, Yerevan
Hills Resort Hotel is an excellent choice for visitors who want more than just a stylish place to sunbathe and actually want plenty of space for swimming.
The highlight is its impressive 50-metre outdoor swimming pool, making Hills one of the strongest options on our list for guests who genuinely enjoy swimming.
Unlike lifestyle-oriented pool clubs where music and entertainment are the main attraction, Hills successfully combines a resort atmosphere with a large pool suitable for longer swims.
The hotel is located in a quieter, elevated part of Yerevan, away from the busiest streets of the city centre.
In addition to its outdoor pool, the resort offers an indoor swimming pool, SPA, fitness facilities, restaurants and other sports and leisure infrastructure.
This makes Hills particularly attractive if you want to spend a substantial part of the day relaxing rather than simply stopping by for a quick swim.
Best for: couples, families, swimmers and travellers looking for a quieter environment.
Main advantage: a large 50-metre outdoor swimming pool.
Atmosphere: relaxed resort-style experience within Yerevan.

📍 Ashtarak Highway area
Vahakni is another attractive option for travellers who want to combine swimming with a green and peaceful setting.
Its biggest advantage is the atmosphere. Rather than simply offering a pool surrounded by rows of sun loungers, Vahakni provides a more relaxed environment where visitors can spend an unhurried summer day.
The pool is complemented by landscaped green areas, a bar and dining options, making it possible to stay for several hours or spend most of the day here.
It is a good choice for couples, small groups of friends and travellers who prefer a calmer environment to a busy party-oriented pool club.
Best for: couples, groups of friends and travellers looking for a peaceful summer day.
Main advantage: combination of a swimming pool and green surroundings.
Atmosphere: relaxed, green and resort-like.

📍 50/1 Ashtarak Highway, Yerevan
If your priority is finding a good outdoor swimming pool in Yerevan for a family with children, Cross Pool is one of the first places worth considering.
It is among the most family-oriented options in our selection.
In addition to the main outdoor swimming pool, there is a children’s water area. The complex also has an indoor swimming pool, which can be useful if the weather changes.
This makes Cross more suitable for a traditional family pool day than many of Yerevan’s fashionable pool clubs, which are primarily focused on music and adult guests.
Its location on the outskirts of Yerevan is another advantage: it is relatively easy to reach from the centre while offering a quieter atmosphere.
Best for: families with children.
Main advantage: family-friendly facilities and a children’s water area.
Atmosphere: relaxed family recreation.

📍 Silikyan, Yerevan
Latar is well known in Yerevan as a large hotel and entertainment complex, and during summer one of its main attractions is its spacious outdoor swimming pool.
With a water surface of approximately 1,380 m², Latar is noticeably larger than many of the city’s smaller lifestyle pool clubs.
Relaxation areas surround the pool, while a bar and summer restaurant make it possible to spend a substantial part of the day within the complex.
Latar is a good choice for visitors who prioritize space, a large swimming area and extensive facilities.
The atmosphere is more traditional than at The Pool, Jellyfish, ZEN or N7, but the size of the pool is a significant advantage.
Best for: families, couples and groups of friends.
Main advantage: one of the largest outdoor swimming pools in Yerevan.
Atmosphere: large summer resort complex.

📍 7/2 Ashtarak Highway, Yerevan
San Marco Pool is another well-known summer swimming venue on the western side of Yerevan.
Its atmosphere is noticeably different from Cross Pool and some of the quieter resort-style options. San Marco is more focused on lively summer entertainment.
The venue regularly hosts themed events, parties and concerts, so it is worth checking the current programme before visiting.
If you are travelling with very young children and want a quiet family day, there are better options on this list. But for groups of friends looking to combine swimming, music and a more energetic summer atmosphere, San Marco can be a good choice.
Best for: younger travellers and groups of friends.
Main advantage: entertainment and events.
Atmosphere: music, parties and active summer recreation.
Each place on our list offers a different experience.
For a premium pool day, our first choice would be The Pool by Seven Visions.
For a modern beach-club atmosphere, consider Jellyfish.
For panoramic views over Yerevan, ZEN is one of the most interesting options.
For a rooftop pool and more energetic club atmosphere, choose N7 Beach Club.
To escape the city without travelling far, head to Poseidon Aquastage in Arzni.
If you want a large pool for proper swimming, Hills Resort Hotel is an excellent choice.
For greenery and a more peaceful environment, consider Vahakni.
Families with children should take a closer look at Cross Pool.
For one of the largest outdoor swimming pools in the city, choose Latar.
And if music and summer events are part of the experience you are looking for, consider San Marco Pool.
If a swimming pool is not just somewhere to cool down but part of the travel experience itself, we would narrow the selection down to a few places.
For luxury and premium service, choose The Pool.
For a lively beach-club experience, Jellyfish is one of the best options.
For city views, ZEN stands out.
And for the combination of a rooftop setting, panoramic scenery and club atmosphere, consider N7 Beach Club.
These venues are particularly suitable for couples, VIP travellers and visitors looking for a contemporary alternative to a traditional hotel swimming pool.
Not every fashionable pool club is equally suitable for families travelling with young children.
Families should pay attention to the availability of children’s pools or shallow areas, shade, changing facilities, restaurants and comfortable spaces where children can take a break from the sun.
Among the places in our selection, Cross Pool is one of the strongest choices for a family pool day.
Hills Resort Hotel is also worth considering for families who prefer a quieter resort-style environment.
If your children are primarily interested in water slides and attractions, however, it may be better to choose a proper water park rather than an ordinary swimming pool.
Take a look at our separate guide to the Best Water Parks in Armenia 2026, featuring Water World, Harsnaqar Water World, Aquatek and Getap Resort Aquapark.
The main outdoor swimming pool season in Yerevan generally runs from June until early September, although exact opening and closing dates depend on the weather and individual venue.
July and August are the hottest months and therefore the most popular time for outdoor pools.
Popular pool clubs can become considerably busier at weekends, so if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, try to visit on a weekday.
Entrance prices, age restrictions, opening hours and event programmes can change during the season.
We recommend checking the latest information directly with the venue before visiting.

If you only have a few free hours, an outdoor swimming pool in Yerevan is by far the more convenient option.
However, if you have an entire day available, consider travelling to Lake Sevan. During summer, you can combine beach time with SUP, boat trips, restaurants and other seasonal water activities.
There is also a good compromise: choose one of the countryside pools near Yerevan. A trip to Arzni, for example, gives you the feeling of leaving the city for a small summer escape without spending several hours on the road.
Summer in Yerevan is about much more than sightseeing.
You can explore the Cascade and the historic centre in the morning, spend the afternoon relaxing by a swimming pool and finish the day at one of the capital’s excellent restaurants or rooftop bars.
Combining sightseeing with slower moments of relaxation is one of the best ways to experience a different side of the Armenian capital.
If you are spending several summer days in Yerevan, we recommend leaving at least half a day free from excursions and enjoying some time by the water.
Travel-Armenia organizes private, family and VIP tours throughout Armenia. We can create a personalized itinerary combining sightseeing with the best restaurants, stylish swimming pools, countryside resorts, outdoor adventures and plenty of time to relax.
