Families should pay attention to the availability of children’s pools or shallow areas, shade, changing facilities, restaurants and comfortable spaces where children can take a break from the sun.

The main outdoor swimming pool season in Yerevan generally runs from June until early September, although exact opening and closing dates depend on the weather and individual venue.
July and August are the hottest months and therefore the most popular time for outdoor pools.
Popular pool clubs can become considerably busier at weekends, so if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, try to visit on a weekday.
Entrance prices, age restrictions, opening hours and event programmes can change during the season.

If you only have a few free hours, an outdoor swimming pool in Yerevan is by far the more convenient option.
However, if you have an entire day available, consider travelling to Lake Sevan. During summer, you can combine beach time with SUP, boat trips, restaurants and other seasonal water activities.
