The first Harley-Davidson festival was held in Armenia.

Mount Ararat, Armenian cognac, and Harley-Davidson—what could they possibly have in common?

On June 14-15, Armenia hosted the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle festival, Apricot Rally 2024. 130 guests, about 50 of whom were on motorcycles, flocked to the capital of Armenia to participate in the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle festival in Armenia. Guests came from various cities—Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Minsk, Riga, and others.

The festival was organized by the Mount Ararat Chapter Armenia (Harley Owners Group-HOG) club with technical support from our company. The festival was planned before 2020, but due to the partial or complete border closures and other events in the region, it was repeatedly postponed.

Mount Ararat Chapter Armenia representative Grigory Harutyunyan explained: “Every year, various motorcycle clubs hold Harley-Davidson motorcycle festivals in various cities, which we also participate in. So, the idea arose to hold a similar festival in Armenia and make it an annual event to introduce our country to a wider audience of motorcycle enthusiasts.
Most of the guests were visiting Armenia for the first time and were very impressed by the beauty of our country and its hospitality. We plan to make the festival an annual event, holding it in a different part of the country each year.

This year’s program included a walk through Yerevan and a tour of the Yerevan Ararat Brandy Factory, which was also one of the event’s sponsors.
On the second day, an early morning motorcycle ride was organized from the center of Yerevan to Khor Virap Monastery. It is from there that one of the most beautiful views of Mount Ararat opens. In the evening, guests enjoyed a gala dinner at the Megerian Carpet factory.
