From August 7 to 9, 2026, Armenia’s second-largest city, Gyumri, will once again become the country’s center of contemporary music, art, and urban culture. After a long break, GYUMRI DALAN FEST 2026 is making its return—one of Armenia’s most unique summer festivals, held not on a traditional concert stage, but in the city’s historic courtyards and the famous Gyumri “dalans.”

DALAN FEST was first launched in 2019 as an urban music and cultural festival with the goal of showcasing Gyumri from a fresh perspective. After several years away, the festival returns with a renewed program and promises to become one of the highlights of Armenia’s summer event calendar.
What makes DALAN FEST truly unique is its concept.
Instead of large concert venues, performances take place inside the city’s historic dalans—traditional passageways and hidden courtyards located between Gyumri’s beautiful old buildings. These atmospheric spaces create a unique feeling of the old city that cannot be experienced anywhere else in Armenia.
For the 2026 edition, the organizers have selected three of Gyumri’s most beautiful and best-preserved dalans, where visitors will enjoy concerts, art installations, exhibitions, and cultural performances.
The festival opens on August 7 with performances by URU and Kangun, followed by the rock band Tiezerk, while Kuchi Blues will headline the evening’s closing concert.
