A hot air balloon festival will be held in Armenia.

Armenia has recently hosted a number of exciting festivals. This year, the international hot air balloon festival “Discover Armenia from the Sky” will be held for the first time. The festival will run from October 13th to 17th. Around 20 hot air balloons from around the world will participate, including Armenia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Russia.

Flights will take place in Garni and Yerevan.

The festival is planned to be held in two stages: a demonstration stage and a competition stage. The demonstration stage includes free hot air balloon flights in the airspace of Garni and Yerevan. During the competition stage, each hot air balloon crew must complete a specific task, after which the winners will be selected.

The festival aims to increase interest in adventure tourism in Armenia.
