There is one more place in Dilijan that deserves a special mention — Toon Armeni.
Technically, it is a guest house rather than a classic boutique hotel, which is why we have not included it in our main Top 10. However, in terms of atmosphere, individuality, and genuine Armenian hospitality, Toon Armeni certainly deserves a place in this guide.
It represents exactly the kind of accommodation that encourages many travelers to choose small family-run hotels and guest houses instead of large hotel complexes.

When organizing trips around Armenia, we often recommend combining the two.
For example, you can spend your first few nights at a comfortable hotel in Yerevan, continue to a small boutique hotel in Dilijan, and then stay at Mirhav in Goris while exploring southern Armenia.
This makes the itinerary much more varied, with each destination offering a different experience.

For northern Armenia, Dilijan and Lori can easily be combined in the same itinerary.
